OFFICE MANAGER’S PICK

For high performance office use and some STEM apps and games. From $1,500 in cost of parts (including tax). Labor will be calculated at 20% of total but waived for any local who wants to help me put his/her own PC together! Built a pair of these for myself so that I could begin to stream on Twitch. STEM-ON-A-BUDGET

For intermediate gamers, CAD fans and streamers on a budget. Starting at $3,100 in cost of parts (including tax). This PC is what techies at home and in schools need in order to run starter 3D design and print jobs as well as robust sound and video editing apps. This build-and-stream model should be the baseline from which techies of my generation work in order to support their higher tech-oriented futures.

TECHIE’S PICK

For advanced gamers, higher capacity CAD users, advanced sound engineers, and videographers. Starting at $10,000 in cost of parts (including tax). Customers and donors should know that NO labor charges will apply as I’ll be thrilled at the opportunity to build this higher end PC. Note: Even though $10,000 sounds like a lot of money, the film studios and high tech labs in which I and many of my classmates want to work host setups starting at $20,000.
